The University of Montana EOS Training Center Natural Resource Project will present natural resource managers with some of the most advanced satellite and model applications available for evaluating difficult landscape-level measurements. Remotely sensed data provided by NASA's EOS mission will provide regional to global estimates of biophysical variables to assist land resource and policy professionals in making sound management decisions. The data products are relevant to a broad range of applications in forest and range productivity, hydrology, and fire management. The UM EOS Training Center will train natural resource land managers in understanding and acquiring EOS data to enhance the utility of EOS in land management.
